Neda Kazemi

Professionally, I only have one goal in mind!

To introduce people to Iran, my beloved home country. To enable them to get to know Iran. Make them feel and experience the country, by giving them a taste of its customs and culture. To show them the true, authentic Iran.

There are many times when nationalities can learn from one an other. This learning experience can help us create a more balanced life. I am convinced that Iran can offer the turning point for everyone!

First, let me introduce myself. I am Neda Kazemi. I was born in 1967. I am of mixed Persian and Dutch descent, and fluent in both languages. I lived in Iran until the age of twelve, then I moved to the Netherlands and, later Australia. As being brought up in two entirely different cultures ,it’s perhaps little surprising that I ended up studying Cultural Anthropology at the university of Leiden, in the Netherlands. As part of the curriculum, we had to engage in extensive fieldwork. My fieldwork took me all over Iran. And each time I was struck by the country’s great diversity. This is one of the reasons why I love to introduce people to Iran and enable them to enjoy the richness of the country. I also hope that thanks to our travel tours people gain a more balanced picture of Iran. These thoughts have inspired me to organize cultural trekking tours in Iran since 1995.
